- Concomitant use of thiazide diuretics (eg derivatives of benzothiadiazine ) used to stimulate the flow of urine , may increase the risk of hypercalcemia (increased concentration of calcium in the blood). Therefore, prolonged treatment should be monitored levels of calcium in the blood and urine.
